A new methods and analysis desk for evidence-driven investigative journalism
Today I’m introducing RDP Analytics, a new research and methods arm within Restoring Democracy’s Promise.
The goal is simple: build a more structured way to document institutional failures, accountability gaps, and hidden system behavior using evidence, timelines, and analytical modeling — while keeping the work grounded in public records and readable journalism.
This is where quantitative structure meets investigative reporting.
The first public case study is now live:
The Federal Oversight Vacuum Cascade
A 164-hour core oversight blackout during the shutdown, reconstructed through contemporaneous records and analytical validation.
